OUSD ecosystem dataset
Download the provider, product, and network data used by openusd.dev. Use it to build a provider comparison, find products for a task, or look up OUSD token addresses. The directory, provider profiles, and network pages use these same records.
https://openusd.dev/data/ecosystem.jsonReuse and license
Section titled “Reuse and license”The original dataset compilation and descriptions are dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal, to the extent of the rights held by Paul Copplestone. You can copy, change, redistribute and use that material commercially without permission or attribution.
This dedication does not cover cited third-party documentation, third-party code, provider logos or trademarks. Those retain their own rights. Source citations remain useful for checking claims; keeping them is not a CC0 condition. Read the dataset license notice and CC0 legal code.
Fetch and query
Section titled “Fetch and query”This JavaScript example finds payout products whose documentation names OUSD, then joins each product to its provider. Run it in a Node.js ES module (18 or later), or in this site’s browser console:
const response = await fetch("https://openusd.dev/data/ecosystem.json");if (!response.ok) throw new Error(`Dataset request failed: ${response.status}`);const data = await response.json();
const providers = new Map(data.providers.map(p => [p.id, p.name]));const payouts = data.capabilities .filter(p => p.tasks.includes("send-payouts") && p.ousdSupport === "documented") .map(p => ({ provider: providers.get(p.providerId), product: p.name, access: p.access, assetScope: p.assetScope, docs: p.officialDocumentationUrl, }));
console.table(payouts); The result is a shortlist for further reading. assetScope explains where OUSD fits in each product. access summarizes how the product is offered; read accessRequirements and the product docs for eligibility and onboarding details. A task match alone can include products whose OUSD support is unresolved; the example filters those out.
Data structure
Section titled “Data structure”The dataset is 0.1 alpha, identified by schemaVersion: "0.1.0-alpha". Fields may change during alpha. Validate downloaded records against the JSON Schema, generated from the same definitions used by this site’s build.
| Field | Type | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
license |
object | CC0 identifier, canonical license URL, scope, notice URL and application date. An additive alpha field; stable record IDs are unchanged. |
schemaVersion |
string | The data format version, currently 0.1.0-alpha. |
providers |
array | Provider identities and profiles. Join a product’s providerId to a provider’s id. |
capabilities |
array | Product records: tasks, OUSD support, access, documentation, and limitations. |
networks |
array | Native OUSD deployments with token addresses, explorer links, and profiles. |
tasks |
object | Task IDs, such as send-payouts, mapped to display labels. |
sources |
array | Shared source records. Resolve profile statements’ sourceIds against these IDs. Product sources are already expanded. |
modifiedAt |
date string | Latest recorded content change. |
reviewCoverage |
object | Oldest and newest record review dates and the number of records covered. Individual records retain their own dates. |
Provider and network profiles contain an introduction and sections. Each statement has text and sourceIds, so you can keep the evidence link when displaying it elsewhere. A section can also contain optional examples: documented code with a stable id, title, language, description and source IDs. These additive alpha fields do not change existing record IDs.
Product fields
Section titled “Product fields”Each entry in capabilities describes a product or integration path. A provider can have several entries with different access requirements and OUSD support.
| Field | Type | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
id / providerId |
strings | Product identifier and its provider’s ID. |
name / capability |
strings | Product name and a short description of its function. |
tasks |
string array | Activity categories used by the directory filters. |
ousdSupport |
optional enum | documented, listed, unresolved, or generic; see below. |
assetScope |
string | How OUSD is used in the product, including any other assets involved. |
access |
enum | self_service, onboarding_required, restricted_beta, announced, or not_established. |
accessRequirements |
string | Account eligibility and onboarding details. |
availability |
enum | Normalized release stage: announced, private_beta, public_beta, generally_available, deprecated, or unknown. Separate from account eligibility. |
availabilityReason |
string | Source detail behind the release-stage category, including why it is unknown. |
environment |
enum | production, sandbox, or unknown. |
verification |
enum | not_tested or tested. A tested record requires an independent test evidence artifact. |
networks |
array or null | Network names documented for this product. null means unknown. The top-level network list does not establish a product’s network support. |
networkNote |
string | Details or gaps in the product’s network evidence. |
officialDocumentationUrl |
URL or null | Product docs. null means product-specific public docs have not been established. |
summary / limitations |
string / string array | What the product does and its known restrictions or unresolved details. |
sources |
array | Source URLs, supported claims, publication dates, and source review dates. |
evidence / evidenceArtifact |
enum / URL or null | source-backed, provider-reviewed, or independently tested, with an artifact required for the latter two. |
reviewedAt / modifiedAt |
date strings | When the record was reviewed and when its content changed. |
OUSD support labels
Section titled “OUSD support labels”documented: product documentation names OUSD for this capability.listed: an OUSD overview or integration directory names the path, with some product details still unconfirmed.unresolved: the reviewed sources leave OUSD support unclear or conflicting.generic: the capability is documented for the provider’s general platform, without OUSD-specific evidence.
Freshness
Section titled “Freshness”The dataset is a manually reviewed snapshot. Provider docs and account eligibility can change between updates, so check a record’s reviewedAt and linked sources before choosing an integration. No product in the dataset has been independently tested.
Dates use YYYY-MM-DD; a null publication date means the publication date is unknown. Downloading the file does not refresh its review dates.
